For a few seconds I was disappointed, they don't serve it with sugar here which is what makes the plate so amazing, but pouring out your own sugar isn't that difficult and once I'd added a few packets to my plate all was right with the world. How was the service and atmosphere? I think the award for that goes to Little Malaysia in El Monte. The price was right but the food was awful. The deep-fried pomfret with spicy scallion sauce is also one of my favorites. Why or why not? And the best part is they will make anything veggie. Posh French Cleaners had all but lost hope in their attempt at rank well in local search results. Milo ice was great, malaysian fried rice was spot on, the beef rendang was delicious, the roti canai and its curry was fabulous.

Reminded me of what I would try to cook if I bought a Thai cookbook at a craft fair in Ohio - whitewashed, boring, full of transfats, and inauthentic. So I asked for something vegetarian with the famous black soy sauce and I liked what the waiter got me. By asking their customers to leave reviews for all four locations and acting fast to manage their local listings, they've been able to appear on the first page of search results consistently for over 8 months. This time I knew coz I had visited Kuala Lampur earlier this year. Much better was Ayam Panggang Kecap, it's a delicious chicken plate with a strangely addictive flavor to the fried skin. The disappointment of the night was the Malaysian Style Nasi Goreng, we went with the spicy option.

Please don't disparage owners, employees or other patrons by name or post personal information. If you like spicy food, this is a good restaurant to eat. The curry puffs were good but for the price, I could go to either Kee Way Bakery or Diamond Bakery and get some that are pretty comparable. I would not go back.

It's nothing that different, slightly different spices than you'd find in a Thai or Chinese restaurant but quite familiar. In particular, they do a coconut curry called Chicken Rendang, and a mildly spicy noodle dish called Indian Mee Goreng which is wonderful. I' noticed a few complaints about the thickness but the thickness isn't important, it's the way it's cooked that matters, so that it's crispy but not overly burnt although to be fair everyone has a way they like it made. It's a perfect example of what makes Malaysian food special, something completely different yet comfortingly familiar.
The food is very good, the menu is pretty extensive, and of course the staff is prompt and well mannered. There's a very small pool of good Malaysian restaurants to choose from, but add this to the list. I can truly declare ""what good food and service is"". The curry was bland and greasy. It's always consistently good, and my vague memory of this place was that it was okay but not memorable. Pros: food, service, space You could probably argue that this isn't authentic Malaysian cuisine. The chicken satay looked like plastic and had no flavor. The sauce here has just a vaguely different flavor than I'm used to but it only took moments to adjust.

It's not the best looking place, the idea of decoration consisting of travel brochures strung along the ceiling and hung on the walls, a few tv's around the room and a handful of plants but there's plenty of seating and even a few comfortable Bob's Big Boy style booths to choose from. The rice had no flavor whatsoever, I'm not a fan of MSG or anything over salty but this rice just was bland and it wasn't even spicy, I had to ask for extra sambal just to add some spicy and some flavor to make it more appealing and appetizing to my palate. Also, although we didn't try it J Gold says that the satays and the curry dishes are most excellent.

The chicken kurma was ok, but overall this was such a delightful find! The dry cleaning industry is incredibly competitive in the local market. There are blocks with literallly dozens of different Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Korean to choose from, yet for some reason when it comes to Malaysian food it's increasingly difficult to find. A Yazmin Malaysian Restaurant has a 4. Best Dishes: Roti Canai, Ayam Panggang Kecum, Char Kuei Toew not my fave but very popular Curry Puffs, Satays Food - A- Ambience - B- Service - B+ Value - A-. The roti was good but I wish that the curry was thicker, it was so loose and thin we just drizzled it over the roti. Within 30 days of utilizing their Business Profile Pages as local landing pages, they saw 1st page results on Google and other search engines. When it comes to Malaysian, the barometer has to be Roti Canai.
