If this was youtube, I would say "thumbs up if you agree" Thu, August 11th, 2011 4:46am I really like them both and feel bad fopr Katniss since she had to choose. I know the story was in Katniss's POV and Katniss just doesn't care, but you know both Peeta and Gale have sat there and thought about what it would be like to sleep with her. No one is thinking about this nearly as hard as you are. Katniss did not want to have kids because the Hunger Games still existed and her kids could possibly end up in the games, not because she in general does not want kids. Peeta is loving and caring and Gale is mean. Games then happen multiple times a day at specified hours. But I do love those movies.
Why did Katniss chose Peeta over Gale? It seems like he was compltely cut out of the picture and they were friends for so long. I feel like Gale would never let her live down the show she and Peeta put on in the games no matter what. Peeta kinda took Katniss away from him. The following are particular examples of content considered to be low-effort. I don't want to compare them because I love em' both. This community is devoted to the Hunger Games series, both a young adult fiction book series by Suzanne Collins, and four film adaptations by Color Force and Lionsgate. I think she felt something for Peeta from the moment she realized he burned the bread on purpose to give to her.

I thought that he balanced Katniss well. Ask me these questions before I go on a whole analysis on the imaginary hidden meanings behind every sentence. Gale is also known as the boy with the snares Peeta was also set on fire,so in a way Peeta is the boy on fire 28. They crash into each other intensely, and they understand each other deeply, which is where their intimacy comes from. His name is a type of Bread.
Tyler: I read the first book because everyone told me how great it was and how I could read it in like an hour and, good lord, two weeks later I finally closed the damn thing and was like, OK, enough of this. I'm a total RiverClan. Anyway this comment is getting abit long so yeah. He is not a big talker…AT ALL! Gale and Katniss share a special bond, from needing each other to stay alive. But Gale had been her best friend and he knew her so well. But when it comes down to it, I have to say Peeta. I don't frankly give a fuck, if my would-be lover had a hand in somehow getting my little sister killed, that would be it.

Now truly, this is an opinion. Peeta proved he understood what she needed when he comforted her on the train after she had nightmares, even though he was well aware that she was confused and was using him for comfort. I was laughing the whole time. I'm gonna sit in my little house and shoot bunnies why your trying to stay alive. Yet, it is hard not to like Peeta because he is so nice. It hard to see why Katniss chose Peeta. But there are several compelling reasons why Katniss made the wrong choice, and we've rounded them up below.

At some point in the first novel, GALE HELD UP A PIECE OF BREAD WITH AN ARROW STUCK IN IT! Did it ever occur to you that Katniss refers to Peeta as the boy with the bread in the first book because she thinks he is an idiot? She could confide in him, she trusted him, and loved him, in the brotherly-sisterly sense. Then once Prim died it destroyed Katniss and Gales friendship knowing it was his design that Coin used to kill Prim. This special bond is something Peeta never quite had with Katniss. What I need is the dandelion in the spring.
