Softball has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I played on various teams and even went on to play in college. To me, softball means more than just a sport - it's a way of life.

This means learning to trust and rely on your teammates, as well as being a good sport and gracious in both victory and defeat. These lessons have helped me to become a more collaborative and respectful person in all of my relationships.
But perhaps most importantly, softball has given me a sense of belonging and community. Being part of a team means being part of something bigger than yourself, and I have made lifelong friendships through my involvement in the sport. Even after my playing days were over, I remained involved in the softball community as a coach and mentor, and the sense of camaraderie and connection I feel with others who love the game has been immeasurable.
