Politics is not wholly deterministic, but some things can be predicted with reasonable confidence. Instead he just goes off on the same few tangents. The Gospels anticipate the end of the world within the lifetime of those who first utterered them. Perhaps a guilty pleasure, but I really enjoyed this book. You set a really minimal goal and you make it and everyone says, my gosh, he did a great job? There is no complete, undisputed list of infallible proclamations. It makes perfect sense in real estate, where some people are good businesspeople, others are bad businesspeople, and the goal is to game the system rather than change it. The same may be true for a lot of Latin-American immigrants today, but the left has very loud, very vocal anti-assimilationist movements, and worse, they seem to be in charge of major school districts.
