What other setting can she be expected to tackle with authority? Even at boarding school, she made few friends, preferring Cassandra's company. The title of the work, however, is now changed to Catherine which led some historians to believe that there may have been another novel out in print at the time with the same title of Susan. She did not seem to regret the fall in social standing, however, and was a cheerful wife and mother to the family. From that point on I found much to love about this book.
