George Armstrong Custer was an American military officer and cavalry commander who served in the American Civil War and Indian Wars. He is best known for his role in the Battle of Little Bighorn, also known as "Custer's Last Stand," where he and all of his men were killed by Native American warriors.
Custer was born in New Rumley, Ohio in 1839. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he graduated last in his class in 1861. Despite his poor academic record, Custer was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Union Army and served with distinction during the Civil War. He rose through the ranks quickly, becoming a brigadier general at the age of 23.
After the Civil War, Custer was appointed to the Western frontier, where he served in a number of military campaigns against Native American tribes. In 1876, he was given command of the 7th Cavalry and led a campaign against the Lakota and Northern Cheyenne tribes in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
On June 25, 1876, Custer and his men were ambushed by a large force of Native American warriors at the Battle of Little Bighorn. Custer and all of his men were killed in the ensuing battle, and the event became known as "Custer's Last Stand."
Custer's legacy is a controversial one. While he is often remembered as a brave and heroic military leader, many Native American groups view him as a symbol of the violent and oppressive policies of the U.S. government towards Native Americans.
Despite the controversial nature of his career, Custer remains a significant figure in American history and is remembered for his bravery and dedication to his country.

If the ozone layer around the Earth did not have this protective shield, then perhaps the Earth would have been lifeless like other planets. In addition to just the lack of absorption of temperatures in the atmosphere, the change in ozone levels also plays a role in the life of our oceans. The NO x cycle in the region just above the troposphere has been found to be responsible for about 70% of the ozone destruction, but recent studies show that this figure may be even more. Various anthropogenic factors, such as the increased combustion of fossil fuels and widespread usage of manmade chemicals, have greatly affected the planet's atmosphere and it's ozone layer. It was the accumulated knowledge of the scientific community that allowed Molina and Rowland to meld a bunch of seemingly disjointed pieces of information into a new hypothesis about the effects of CFCs in the atmosphere. Chlorofluorocarbons CFCs , chemicals found mainly in spray aerosols heavily used by industrialized nations for much of the past 50 years, are the primary culprits in ozone layer breakdown. It is apparent that, without the ozone layer, all humanity would be lost to disease. These gases further accumulate into the atmosphere for some time depending of their resident times and then transported to the stratosphere through vertical mixing. There are various other essays available also in the Vedantu app which are easily available to the students for their better preparation for any examinations or competitions which they may be expecting. Constant exposure to UV radiation also causes early aging. A few mixes discharge chlorine and bromine on presentation to high bright light, which at that point adds to the ozone layer consumption. Studies have been done regarding the possible negative effects of the depletion of the ozone layer.

According to Filipshchuk, and Kolbasenko 15 the emissions from both vehicles and machines have to get advancement by using fuel that emits less harmful gases to the environment or recycling of gases. A significant natural precursor of atomic chlorine is CH 3Cl, which is produced biogenically from the oceans, from the burning of vegetation and from volcanic emissions. Understand that ozone exhaustion isn't restricted to the zone over the South Pole.

The ozone layer is getting thinner and thinner as stable air at places such as Antarctica allows reaction to continue. As a result, UV-B radiation from the sun has passed much more easily than it otherwise would have in those areas, causing mortality rates of local organisms to increase Aggarwal, et al. Many of the processes, which are responÂsible for the depletion of ozone layer, share a general mechanism of the type, Net reaction Here X is the reacting species. In more recent years, people have turned to Tesla, which produces completely electric vehicles. Also, the usage of some mineral resources can also pollute the air; burning any kind of fuel fossils releases dangerous elements into the air, such as carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.
